Renewable and compostable sugarcane clamshells are grease and oil resistant, a great alternative to traditional petroleum-derived plastic or foam containers. Made from a reclaimed resource that would otherwise have been burned. Sugarcane pulp is made from the crushed stalks remaining after the juice has been extracted from sugarcane. We prefer sugarcane pulp to paper as the raw material is fast-growing and annually renewable.
Our sugarcane products are compostable in commercial compost facilities, but unfortunately not in your home compost.
