Christmas BioCups Supporting OzHarvest's Mission

These limited edition Christmas Paper Cups are a collaboration with food rescue organisation, OzHarvest to raise awareness and fund to help feed people in need during the holiday season. We have supported OzHarvest since 2015, and in 2022 we formalised our partnership to help them deliver up to 200,000 meals over the course of the year to some of Australia’s most vulnerable communities. OzHarvest’s framework for food rescue saves millions of kilos of good food from landfill and redistributes to people in need. Every five dollars donated via the QR code on these christmas paper cups allows OzHarvest to deliver ten meals, and stop good food from going to waste. 5% of profits from cup sales in November will also be donated to OzHarvest.
Christmas takeaway coffee cups are made from premium paper lined with a bioplastic made from plants, not oil, and are certified industrially compostable to Australian (AS4736) Standards, which means they will biodegrade or break down in a commercial facility.
Go the extra step and find out how to compost these cups, further showing your commitment to the environment. Read about Compost Connect, a not-for-profit initiative started by the BioPak team to connect food service businesses like yours to industrial compost partners to ensure our packaging is sent to a commercial composting facility. Do the right thing and start composting today!
