Double Wall Coffee Cups

For hotter drinks like long blacks and hot tea, we recommend our double wall coffee cups that feature an extra layer of insulation and textured pattern. While our single wall cups paired with coffee sleeves are just as suitable for serving extra hot drinks, some customers and baristas prefer our compostable double wall cups for quicker service. Consumers can enjoy their takeaway coffee in a double wall paper cup free from fossil-fuel plastics. BioPak double wall paper hot cups are certified industrially compostable to Australian Standards AS4736.

Double Wall Coffee Cups That Are Better for the Planet

Choose BioCup double wall coffee cups if hot tea and black coffees make up a significant portion of your hot beverage sales. These double wall paper cups are designed with an extra layer of premium paperboard and a textured pattern for additional insulation to protect consumers. They are a more economical and environmentally friendly solution to double-cupping those hot drinks!

How To Decide on Double or Single Wall Cups

If you're striving for more sustainable business practices, it's important to consider that the extra layer in these double wall insulated paper coffee cups increases the environmental impact of the paper cup both in production and transportation. What Are Double Wall BioCups Made Of?

Our Aqueous double wall BioCups are certified home compostable to AS5810 standards and made with a water-based dispersion coating. The coating is printed like a water-based ink, allowing it to be absorbed into the paper fibers, rather than sitting on top as an additional layer. This reduces the amount of material needed – while still providing the same leak and grease-proof benefits as other coatings. With our home compostable coffee cup lids, you can put your cup and lid right in your home compost bin to break down and have a completely home compostable solution!

We also offer double wall takeaway coffee cups are made from premium paper and are lined with plant-based bioplastic. These compostable double wall cups are printed with non-toxic, environmentally-friendly water or soy-based inks. We use a heavy-duty, premium-quality board to give our insulated coffee cups superior stability, insulation and lid fit.  Our bioplastic and bioplastic-lined premium paper cups are certified industrially compostable to Australian Standards AS4736.

How To Dispose Of Double Wall BioCups

Our cups are designed to be industrially composted as part of the circular economy and are accepted in an increasing number of councils' FOGO (Food Organics Garden Organics) or green bins.
