Disposable Cutlery & Paper Straws

BioPak disposable cutlery and paper straws are a practical and hygienic solution for when reusables are not suitable. Our eco-friendly utensils and paper straws are a sustainable alternative to plastic cutlery and plastic straws. These wooden cutlery and straws are made from plant-based bioplastic or FSC™ (License code FSC™ C110879) certified wood/paper, compostable and certified carbon neutral. Rather than contribute to the planet’s plastic pollution problem, BioCutlery is intended to be composted as part of the circular economy.

BioCutlery

Our BioCutlery range includes 100% bioplastic cutlery and FSC™ 100% Birchwood certified wood cutlery. Our cutlery range includes: disposable cutlery sets, disposable knives, disposable forks, disposable sporks, disposable spoons, disposable soup spoons, disposable dessert spoons, chopsticks, and stirrers made from different types of sustainable materials.

Our 100% bioplastic cutlery and FSC™ certified wood cutlery are industrially compostable. Composting compostable cutlery reduces greenhouse gases, returns nutrients back to the earth and improves soil quality, and costs less than sending waste to landfill. All BioPak single-use disposable cutlery has a smaller carbon footprint compared to conventional plastic cutlery.

Made from beautifully crafted birchwood, our BioPak wooden cutlery is a stylish, affordable, eco-friendly option that biodegrades and will not pollute or damage the environment. Our wooden cutlery range releases no carbon for us to offset – they produce zero net carbon emissions! This is because the trees used to make our cutlery store carbon while they grow and the majority of this remains in the product even after you’ve finished using it – enough to offset all the emissions released from manufacturing, transportation, and disposal in landfill.

Our 100% bioplastic BioCutlery is made from a plant-based bioplastic and produced from a rapidly renewable starch.

Paper Straws

Choose BioStraws for an eco-friendly alternative to plastic straws. Our FSC™ Mix certified paper straws are perfect for sipping drinks – plastic-free and practical! These disposable straws are home compostable and certified carbon neutral.

Not all paper straws are created equal! Some paper straws feature a plastic lining, which means they end up in landfill instead of recycling or compost, and others are made from virgin pulp instead of FSC™ certified paper.

Our compostable paper straws do not have any coating. We use premium, extra strength 3-ply paper to ensure the straws maintain their integrity while being used. The total paper weight of the three layers is 350gsm (135gsm + 135gsm + 80gsm).

Our eco straws are available in three sizes – cocktail straws (4.5x120mm), regular straws (6x197mm) and jumbo straws (10x197mm) – and two types – straight straws (standard straws) and bendy straws (flexible drinking straws). We also offer individually wrapped paper straws that are ideal for self-serve areas which help avoid the spread of germs by ensuring customers get a safe and clean straw every time.

Our cool drinking straws come in a variety of colours and in stylish Art Series designs – with a new release every few months. Want to customise your drinking straw? Ask us about custom paper straws.
