I try to avoid plastic packages: shampoo as a bar of soap, dishwashing liquid as a pill, cleanser also as a pill, laundry detergent, which is reuseable for 365 times and I use soda and vinegar / citric acid for cleaning the drain instead of toxic stuff. I never buy or take a plastic bag in the supermarket - I have always my own bags with me. I haven't flown by plane in more than 10 years and in Berlin I ride my ebike and take the public transport. I know these are small steps but you have to start somewhere.

Nature Study Series
By Jahna Low
Recently I have graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the Dunedin School of Art in New Zealand in 2019. Currently I am creating a range of close up detailed works of different wildlife and experimenting with abstraction and colour. Through my works I seek to raise awareness of, and draw attention to, the natural world and our current anthropocentric society. Wildlife conservation and the impact humans have on our planet is something I feel strongly about and use as inspiration when it comes to my art. I work primarily in acrylic and watercolour on stretched paper and enjoy manipulating the paint to create the most realistic representation of my subject matter. I have always been interested in photorealism and they way it grabs the viewers attention through technique. But recently I have been experimenting with colour and organic shapes to mimic different environments around me. Through my works I hope to start a conversation about these ever relevant topics and raise the question of what we can do to help preserve our natural world.

The Little Red Dot
By Jeraldine Boh
Singapore may be one of the smallest countries in the world but our biodiversity is nothing to belittle. As a true blue Singaporean myself, this illustration showcases my take on what we commonly refer to as the "Little Red Dot".
Each element of this illustration represents a special part of Singapore's ecosystem: from the Jungle Flame and Bougainvillea - 2 of the most common flora lining our streets, to the free ranging otters, families of hornbills and lesser-known Sunda Pangolins - unique fauna that enrich our biodiversity.
Together, they brighten up the mood of this concrete jungle and we can all do our part to help keep it this way by taking steps to protect our planet!
I am an artist from Singapore who enjoys using playful illustrations to give a lighthearted twist to the things around!

Natural Vector #2
By Dave Court
A central theme of my work is the overlapping of digital and physical worlds, where or how there is a distinction, and how this affects our engagement, perception and interaction with the world and each other.
I use a process based approach to my practice, experimenting with different media and applications, from digital illustration to commercial painting equipment, brushes, rollers, studio fashioned paining and sculpting tools and more.
Through my work I’m thinking about questions of personal agency while engaging with the Internet of Things, the authenticity of digital objects, generational identity in the face of environmental disaster, and art as a catalyst for community in a time of extreme content saturation.

Floral labyrinth
By Tereza Maslova
Nature was always my source of inspiration. I grew up in the countryside surrounded by wildlife and beautiful flowers so I am trying to capture that beauty in my illustrations.
My work comes from nature and environment I see around me. I try to make my patterns reflect the season and the location at home or on my travels. Coming from a mixed cultural background, I have been exposed to the impact our ecological challenges. This is why environment friendly products and methods of consumption are so important to me.

Coffee Beans
By Rebecca Houghton
Rebecca’s illustrations show bold shapes and use of colour and texture. Her happy creations are free-flowing, abstract and calming interpretations of nature’s beauty. She predominantly works digitally but loves to explore mixed media using both bold and neutral colour palettes.
Rebecca lives in Yorkshire with her family, their crazy black Labrador, her bee hives and her ever growing flower pot collection.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Mother Earth has provided us with bountiful natural resources that we humans take for granted. So let’s protect what we can by reducing, reusing and recycling!

Dynamic Harmony, Karori
By Keehwa Hong
Humans and wildlife in harmony on the Karori land is a fundamental idea of this design. I’ve portrayed five different activities available in Karori, the geographical landscape, and Wellington Fault: the meeting point of the two continental plates.
I believe that everybody can a better lifestyle without destroying the environment and affecting the ecosystem. Humans need to have important resources and areas protected to give a chance to nature to recover for the present and future.
My sustainable practices are: planting bee-friendly plants in my garden (for instance: lavender); purchasing products from eco-friendly brands, recycling my rubbish; reducing the usage of plastic, wastage of water, and bringing awareness about preserving nature with my artwork.

Our Australian Bush
By Katherine Appleby
Our beautiful Australian bush is precious. Everything exists in balance. We are already witnessing what happens when we upset that balance, from hotter, drier summers that lead to devastating bushfires, to the decimation of entire species. We must act now to save our planet. Each of us can make a difference, whether through small acts or big. Through my art, I hope to raise awareness of environmental issues that impact the Australian bush and all creatures that live within it - and help those who are seeking to restore, rewild and care for it.

Lake Tekapo
By Florence Egasse
The COVID-19 pandemic shows us how vital it is to connect or reconnect with nature. The simple act of going outside is good for the mind, the body and the soul. Immersion in nature is possible through simples acts such as a walk, a look at a view through a window, a glance at a painting.
Unable to travel due to world travel restrictions I was inspired to depict a scene of Lake Tekapo, a wild, free and majestic landscape that is only 2 hours away from my current home, Christchurch in New Zealand. The process of creating a rich turquoise coloured lake with a range of mountains which seem suspended in the water was my own invitation to tune back to the natural world.
Time to slow down…Time to connect with nature, time to respect it, time to protect it.

Tango
By Skye Elizabeth Carroll
I have an absolute passion for parrots. I believe in order to have these amazing animals in our lives and the lives of our children, we need to be diligent stewards of our mother Gaia and to work together to protect our environment.
I have been a wildlife artist for more than 40 years, in that time I have gradually become more and more concerned about the environment particularly the fast decline of our earth’s habitats. I really hope that my artwork helps people to see the amazing beauty and incredible diversity of our wildlife.

Native Gather
By Melanie Caple
Over the past decade, Melanie Caple has developed her practice to incorporate finely detailed oil paintings and large-scale exterior murals. Examining our relationship with the botanical world around us and with a focus on immortalising a sense of place, she uses native flora to activate walls and canvases to draw attention to the fragility and vibrancy of our landscape.
Working between Melbourne and her studio in South Gippsland, Melanie works directly with the foliage that surrounds her. By juxtaposing these botanical compositions with urban surrounds, there is an emphasises on connecting with nature in these settings, and hoping it will inspire others to incorporate nature and care for the environment in their every day.

Floral dream
By Hannele Fernström
I am a swedish illustrator and print designer based in Gothenburg. For me nature is one of my biggest inspiration sources and to collaborate with a company that works with sustainability was an easy choice. We all need to take responsibility in keeping the world a safe space for all humans and living creatures to live in for many years to come.
I truly believe that if nature is nurtured and taken care of nature will nurture and take care of us. It is the closest thing that we have to magic.

Red Pandas
By Gosia Kozdron
As an illustrator, I see everything as a piece of art. My main source of inspiration when it comes to my work is the environment, the animals, and the nature that surrounds us. With every illustration I create, I try to depict the beauty, uniqueness and importance of our environment and the creatures that live within it. I hope that when people come across my art, they take a minute to appreciate how beautiful our planet really is.
My knowledge of global warming is limited, but my love for the planet and it'sbeauty is endless. By supporting environmentally friendly products, like BioCups, that are both easy on the eyes and guilt-free!
When you make a decision based on your love for the planet you are truly the bee's knees.
