Everything we make has an impact on the planet. Our vision is a world without waste, driving change toward a circular economy. We are closing the loop with our innovative compostable food packaging and encouraging the growth of the local industrial compost industry.
Compostable Materials
The raw materials choice is a critical part of the circular economy – that is why we choose rapidly renewable, reclaimed plant-based raw materials as alternatives to regular plastic. Our products are designed to turn into compost, a new valuable and locally produced resource, at the end of their useful life.
Circular Solutions
We act as industry stewards to enable our customers to dispose of our products responsibly, in the most environmentally friendly way. Producer responsibility is a critical part of a global shift towards a circular economy, we have been working with the government, our customers and the waste industry to drive change. In 2021, we launched Compost Connect to help Australians and New Zealanders access composting services for their compostable packaging and food waste.
Responsible Sourcing
BioPak products hold many certifications to ensure our products are made with people and the planet in mind first. Our certifications hold our manufacturers accountable and set a standard in the packaging industry to make sure people are treated and paid fairly, our products are safe for consumers and our planet is protected and even benefits from our product stewardship activities.
