Serving food to consumers on the go? BioPak disposable trays offer a convenient way to package your delicious food both beautifully and hygienically without harm to the environment.

Takeaway convenience usually comes at a cost to the earth with conventional single-use service ware like paper trays often being made from old-growth forests, and plastic trays being made from fossil fuels. After their short useful life of 20 minutes, conventional trays usually end up in landfill where they take decades to break down and release greenhouse gases in the process.

BioPak’s range of single-use plastic-free trays offer a more sustainable takeaway packaging solution – made from rapidly renewable, responsibly sourced resources like sugarcane pulp or FSC™ (License code FSC™ C110879) paperboard. BioPak eco-friendly trays are compostable and recyclable in the recycling stream, if not too soiled. Composting takeaway packaging reduces greenhouse gases, returns nutrients back to the earth and improves soil quality, and costs less than sending waste to landfill.

Sugarcane Trays

Our bagasse trays are made from reclaimed and rapidly renewable sugarcane pulp – a by-product of the sugar-refining industry. Our sugarcane pulp products are the first products of their kind certified to home compost standards (AS5810) and industrial compost standards (AS4736). Compared to paper, sugarcane pulp is even more eco-friendly as it can be harvested annually and it is a waste by-product that would’ve been otherwise burnt. Due to the bagasse being moldable while retaining its integrity, BioPak sugarcane eco food trays are available in a variety of shapes and sizes with compartments built in.

Paper Food Trays

BioPak paperboard trays are produced from FSC™ Recycled certified resources which means the forest-based material used to make these food trays is on its second life. Available in 5 different sizes, these takeaway trays are perfect for market stalls and quick service restaurants.
