Our tree-free takeaway containers are made from rapidly renewable sugarcane pulp, a by-product of the sugar refining industry. They are microwave and oven safe.
Our plant fibre takeaway food containers are made from reclaimed and rapidly renewable sugarcane pulp – a by-product remaining after the juice has been extracted from sugarcane refining (that would otherwise be burned).
Sturdy and versatile, these sugarcane food containers can handle a wide variety of hot and cold foods, including soups and curries (dine-in only).
These disposable food containers are grease and water-resistant, with a leak-proof and secure lid – perfect for food deliveries.
No lids are to be used for the oven at all. For microwave reheating (up to 2 mins), CPLA, PP and Pulp lids will be fine. They are refrigerator and freezer friendly, but please test freezer applications to see if it suits your product. Note: the matching PET, PP, nor PLA lids are not microwave or oven-safe.
PET & PP lids are made from conventional plastic and are non-compostable, and our PLA lids are made from bioplastic and certified industrially compostable (AS4736).
These plastic-free containers are made with no added PFAS. They are designed for the circular economy, certified home (AS5810 pending) and industrially compostable (AS4736).
Clear and accurate data is essential to understanding our impact on the environment and finding solutions to reduce it. The label below shows how a carton of this product impacts our planet. As a leader in sustainable packaging, this label is our way of being transparent, accountable, and committed to combating greenwashing.
The eco-cost calculated per carton, offers our customers a straightforward metric to understand and compare the environmental impacts of our products. Please note that it is not a hidden or added fee to the product's market price.
The eco-cost is independently calculated across four categories – biodiversity loss, effects on human health, material scarcity, as well as the more standard carbon emissions. BioPak utilises this data to identify areas with the greatest potential for environmental impact reduction, it is our job to reduce the eco-cost and your impact.
