SINGLE-USE PLASTIC BANS
Stay Ahead of The Single-Use Plastic Bans
Hong Kong is taking a significant step towards a circular economy by initiating the first phase of single-use plastics bans from 22 April 24. They are banning plastic items commonly used for dine-in, takeaway, and sale to end customers in phase one. More items will also be restricted for sale to end customers in 2025 (date TBC).
Stay ahead of the plastic bans by exploring compliant sustainable packaging alternatives. BioPak offers certified compostable alternatives made from sustainably sourced and rapidly renewable materials, including Aqueous, plant fibre and unlined FSC™ paper and wood.
