Everything we make has an impact on the planet. BioPak’s vision is a world without waste, driving change toward a circular economy, and we want everyone to join us.
We supply products to a wide range of businesses. Not only do we sell through major distribution channels, but we are also able to offer a bespoke service to independent restaurants, cafes and retailers. Here are some of our major distribution channels:
Booker Group plc
Booker is the UK's leading Food and Drink wholesaler, looking after over 400 thousand catering customers with 195 branches nationwide. We have been supplying a range of compostable packaging products to them for over 10 years, and we make several full truckload deliveries to their distribution centres every week.
BioPak first started working with Deliveroo in 2015, shortly after they expanded outside London. In 2019, we became Deliveroo’s preferred packaging supplier and in 2020 we launched the “Deliveroo Partnership Scheme” which changed the relationship from supplier/customer to partners. This has led to introductions to some of Deliveroo’s best-performing restaurants – Wahaca, Dishoom, Gaucho etc. We also work with The Big Table Group, who launched on Deliveroo in 2020. We created a full range of bespoke packaging for their core brands - Las Iguanas, Bella Italia and Café Rouge.
Experimentation and innovation are the driving forces behind BioPak’s mission to create sustainable, environmentally-friendly packaging, but the success of this goal is a collaborative effort. Since 2018, BioPak have been collaborating with the Australian supermarket Woolworths and a number of their preferred fruit and vegetable producers and packers to develop our range of award-winning bagasse bakery trays and fresh produce trays.
Guzman y Gomez
As a leading quick-service restaurant (QSR), Guzman y Gomez feeds masses of hungry patrons daily in custom design BioPak bagasse takeaway containers. With over 150 restaurants across Australia, the Mexican street food restaurant set out to make a change for the better and set an example within the industry. By simply switching to BioPak, Guzman y Gomez is preventing the creation of harmful emissions, reducing waste-to-landfill, and removing the need for conventional plastics within quick-service restaurants.
Aldi is committed to making significant changes to the amount of single-use plastic that they are using in-store. Aldi Australia worked with BioPak for 12 months, trialling and testing a variety of materials to find the right solution to bring a non-plastic tableware replacement to market for retail in 2020. Results: a home compostable and carbon-neutral picnic range enabling end users to reduce their plastic waste and divert more organic material away from landfill, thereby lowering the carbon footprint of their party or event.
