Serving up food for your customers to enjoy on-the-go? Takeaway food can be tricky to eat and get messy when enjoying that slurpy curry, juicy burger or saucy chips without a table. For both practical and hygienic reasons, customers often need disposable napkins to enjoy their food (or cleanup in the aftermath).
Many disposable napkins are made from paper derived from old-growth forests, and after a short useful life of 20 minutes, usually end up in landfill instead of compost.
Carrying around a cloth is not always practical (we need to think of the environmental impact of creating the cloth napkin and washing, too) so it's important to provide a more sustainable option.
Our BioNapkins are made from FSC™️ (License code FSC™️ C149381) certified pulp. They come in a range of styles and colours.
As a paper product, our eco napkins can be composted at home (or in a industrial composting facility). Composting paper napkins reduces greenhouse gases, returns nutrients back to the earth and improves soil quality, and costs less than sending waste to landfill.
They can be easily added to organic waste to be industrially composted if you're providing them in a restaurant or cafe setting.
