Packaging made from plants, not plastic! Our 7x5" bagasse produce trays are an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic or styrofoam produce trays and fruit punnets. These plastic-free produce trays are made from rapidly renewable sugarcane pulp, a by-product of the sugar refining industry. Certified home compostable.
BioPak fresh produce packaging is made from 100% renewable resources – made from a reclaimed by-product of the sugarcane industry.
These pulp fruit punnets are a perfect replacement for plastic fruit punnets and vegetable produce trays.
These sugarcane produce trays have a high wet strength and perform better in moist environments than conventional cardboard produce trays.
These compostable produce trays are certified home compostable to European NF T51-800 standards and commercially compostable to European EN13432 standards.
The emissions associated with the production, distribution and disposal of the all BioPak products are offset through the purchase of carbon credits.
Looking for custom produce trays? We can work with you to design your own custom moulded sugarcane pulp range – minimum order quantities 200,000 units/size.
Environmental Impact Label
Clear and accurate data is essential to understanding our impact on the environment and finding solutions to reduce it. The label below shows how a carton of this product impacts our planet. As a leader in sustainable packaging, this label is our way of being transparent, accountable, and committed to combating greenwashing.
The eco-cost below, calculated per carton, offers our customers a straightforward metric to understand and compare the environmental impacts of our products. Please note that it is not a hidden or added fee to the product's market price.
The eco-cost is independently calculated across four categories – biodiversity loss, effects on human health, material scarcity, as well as the more standard carbon emissions. BioPak utilises this data to identify areas with the greatest potential for environmental impact reduction, it is our job to reduce the eco-cost and your impact.
