The event was established in 2016 by Peter Burge, who wanted to honor his mother's memory and raise awareness about the challenges faced by those living with dementia.
Starting from Bondi Beach in Sydney, participants embark on a challenging 14-day journey, covering over 1600 km to reach Barossa Valley in South Australia. The event attracts cyclists from all walks of life, ranging from experienced athletes to those who are new to cycling.
