We are also a certified B Corporation and believe we have an obligation to preserve and protect the environment and to give back and support the communities in which we operate. So, when you purchase your packaging from BioPak, you can trust that we’re giving back 5 per cent of our profits, as well as contributing our time and energy to make a positive difference and accelerate the transition to a circular economy.

Additionally, we've launched Australia’s first national composting network. Compost Connect connects our customers to commercial composting facilities to divert our customers' compostable packaging and food scraps from landfills and instead have the organic waste turned into compost. We are the first manufacturer and distributor in the area to provide this closed-loop solution to support the circular economy.

BioPak was launched in 2006 by Richard Fine, joined shortly after by Gary Smith. The goal was to bring more sustainable single-use packaging alternatives to the market. In the span of a decade, BioPak has disrupted the industry and continues to lead by developing innovative packaging solutions based on the principles of a circular economy.

All our products are manufactured overseas.

We have an exclusive partnership with five production facilities located in China and Taiwan. All suppliers are thoroughly audited to ensure they meet our stringent quality and environmental standards. Our production facilities are best of breed and we have processes in place to ensure consistent quality and adherence to environmental practices, including certifications – ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO22000 and many more. We audit them every year to conduct reviews on their processes and business practices and together we work on an advanced program of continual improvement.
