Water-Based Paper Cups Are the Future

Our Aqueous double wall BioCups are certified home compostable to AS5810 standards and made with a water-based dispersion coating. The coating is printed like a water-based ink, allowing it to be absorbed into the paper fibers, rather than sitting on top as an additional layer. This reduces the amount of material needed – while still providing the same leak and grease-proof benefits as other coatings. These water-based paper cups are different to our PLA bioplastic lined cups. These Aqueous cups feature a double wall for extra comfort and protection against hot drinks like long blacks or tea. With our home compostable coffee cup lids, you can put your cup and lid right in your home compost bin to break down and have a completely home compostable solution!
