Sustainability Report Highlights

2024

Hear From Gary Smith,
BioPak CEO

“This year marks yet another year of strong growth for BioPak as we continue to work with our loyal customers, partners and the wider community. As part of this year’s report, I am proud to announce that BioPak has made a commitment to reaching Net-Zero GHG Emissions across our value chain by 2050, a historic milestone that we share alongside our major shareholder, Duni. Our portfolio and network continues to grow with two globally recognised B Corps, Huskee and decent packaging, joining our extended family - forming what is now known as the BioPak Group. Our mission is to develop best-in-class solutions that incorporate a range of products and strategies that will help us transition to a waste-free world. We have some truly ambitious plans over the next 12 months, particularly around our own emissions reduction scheme, product innovation and continuing to bolster education to spark conversation and drive meaningful change that champions circular solutions.”

About decent

From hot cups to coffee bags, food packaging, and more, decent packaging makes sustainability simple for the speciality coffee market. The essential concept at the heart of decent packaging is “everything we make, we can unmake”, highlighting their raw materials designed to be composted or recycled, minimising the environmental impact at end-of-life. decent packaging set out to leave this world a little better than they found it, and help you do the same.

Shipping directly within New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Available via distributors and retailers within EU.

About Huskee

Huskee designs functional and beautiful reusable products made from waste and recycled materials to accelerate the transition to a waste-free world. Beginning with the Original Huskee Cup, an iconic and award-winning design made from proprietary waste coffee husk (a byproduct from processing coffee cherries), the brand now showcases an expansive reusable product range that celebrates circularity.

Beyond creating beautiful products, Huskee offers reuse services to promote circular economy outcomes: their cup exchange program, HuskeeSwap, and their end-of-life recycling program, HuskeeLoop.
