As BioPak approaches its 20th year of business, it’s a timely moment to reflect on the year that was. Our 2025 Impact Report shares the progress we’ve made across environmental and social impact, product innovation and advocacy, as well as the challenges we continue to navigate. Most importantly, it addresses the question that matters most: what’s next?
Richard Fine, Co-Founder

Building on BioPak’s long-standing leadership in sustainable packaging, the Global BioPak Group was founded in 2024 and brings together four complementary brands: BioPak, Huskee, decent packaging and Bygreen. Together, we offer a broad portfolio of sustainable foodservice solutions spanning compostable, recyclable and world-class reusable packaging, with options to suit businesses at every stage of their sustainability journey.
Through our Give Back Fund we positively impact Trees, Meals and Lives. Since 2012, we have committed to donating 5% of profits to positive change – a commitment we have met every year.

Through Rainforest Rescue, taking action to protect and restore the threatened Daintree Rainforest.

Through OzHarvest, KiwiHarvest and Food Bank.

The raw materials we use and circular solutions we build sit at the heart of our sustainability strategy. Across our four brands, we prioritise rapidly renewable, reclaimed and plant-based materials as alternatives to conventional fossil fuel-based plastics.

Our product and innovation teams focused on integrating the Bygreen product portfolio, while working to apply the sustainability certification standards of BioPak across the entire group. We also focused on improving material performance of existing products and laying the groundwork for new product launches in 2026.

Guy Brent, CEO, BioPak Group
Looking ahead, BioPak Group has a significant pipeline of work underway across product innovation, emissions reduction, advocacy and compliance. We remain firmly committed to our near- and long-term emissions reduction targets, aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), including halving emissions by 2030 and achieving net-zero by 2050.
As we enter our next 20 years, our focus remains clear: supporting our customers with the most sustainable, innovative and commercially competitive solutions available.
In 2026, we are calling for a ‘systems reset’, recognising that meaningful progress in sustainable packaging depends on fully aligned systems spanning packaging design, recovery infrastructure, regulation and real-world data. Ultimately, packaging is only as effective as the systems in place to recover it.
